I am having trouble with my Baxi Bahama 100 in that it does not produce enough hot water. if I turn my hot tap on at a slow speed it is boiling but if I turn it to full it goes cold, The control is set to full on the boiler.

Thats the way a combi works......it pysically cant heat any more. If you want more hot water youll have to spash out on a higher output combi.

Do you know if the heat exchanger can be exchanged with a larger one, or does it mean a complete new boiler.

It would have to burn more gas too!

Measure the flow at say showering temperature. You should get a bit over 10 lites per minute. A bucket is often marked, usually 9 litres.

Less than that means your combi is blocked with sludge /scale.
