How do I repair scratch on glass shower door?

Apparently there are products that allow you to rub the scratch out, but I'm a bit sceptical, a new door may be your best bet. Just one thing, how did you scratch it

I’ll have another go; Jewellers rouge can work but only on fine scratches & I’m not sure where you can get it these days.

Only other thing that might be worth a go it the epoxy method they use to repair cracks in car windscreens but whether or not you could get someone to do this I have no idea; either live with it or a new shower door might well be the easiest option.

Or you could use that magical product called opps. (pot kettle etc)

It will depend on how deep the scratch is. Try running your fingernail over the scratch and if it does not get caught you may be able to polish the scratch out with a commercial product such as One of these kitshttp://www.glasspolishshop.co.uk/index.php?cPath=54. A friend of mine used this on his scratched window recently and reported reasonable success.

If the scratch is deep then you will need to call in a specialist - which may cost as much as having a new piece of glass cut!
