Tidying up my window frames and resealing externally etc.
I have removed a upvc strip from the top length of upstairs window frame which adjoins the soffit. The idea was to clean up, replace and reseal.
It had started to come away anyway and after getting up the ladder, i noticed part of a soffit board had dropped slightly causing the upvc strip to come away. I can lift it back with some pressure, but my concern is whats behind/on top of the soffit.
In the summer we had a load of bee flying around and after looking in the loft i have concluded its their mess behind soffit.
So best way to remove??
Can i remove the one wooden soffit board easily enough and refix?
Any other suggestions?
