Hi
I wonder if you experts can help me understand the regulations and flow rates for guttering?

I want to minimise the number of downpipes (and resulting drainage trenches) in my new build.

The front elevation is a straight run of 16m with a roof area of 93m2 at a pitch of 45deg. Will a downpipe at each end suffice?

At the rear, I have a run of 6.8m with a 90deg bend, roof area 32m2, plus a run of 12.2m with a 90deg bend, roof area 61m2 - will one downpipe at the end of each run cope?

I hope I've explained myself clearly enough - these tables seem very complicated!
