Anyone got any tips on connecting the remote control cables in an 05 Corsa door mirror?
Fitting the replacement glass was the easy bit, but getting hold of the ball ends on the cables through the narrow gap behind the glass is tricky, even with the control lever moved to its limit (I have tried this with needle-nosed pliers). And pushing them with enough force to snap into the plastic housings has so far proved impossible.
It doesn't seem possible to connect the cables up first and assemble the glass to the housing afterwards either. Is there a special tool for this job, or is there a particular knack to doing it?
