I've just bought a shower pump and put it in our air-in cuboard where my copper cylinder is which is on the back wall of our shower. Their are two (cold,hot)22mm copper pipes that go into the tap with a shower coming off it from the copper cylinder.

Now my question is could i just turn the isolation valve, cut the pipe in two places and connect up hot, cold in and hot, cold out?

If so would that give me a power shower?

Check the manufacturers instructions, you'll probably find that they tell you to plumb the pump in like this:

imagining the valve as your taps obviously.
