I just bought one of those nice towel radiators for the bathroom and have to mount it on the plaster board wall (patition wall). Its pretty heavy so it needs some good fixings for the brackets. What does anyone recommend?

Cheers

Establish where studs are in wall. See if the rail can be fitted so that at least a couple of the mounting brackets can be located in the studs. Failing that, cut open the wall and insert large blocks of wood, glued and screwed into position, to act as fixing points for brackets. The plasterboard that you neatly cut out with a Stanley knife can be glued back into position so you just need some filler to make good.
