Hi guys.

Im not a great DIY expert but doing some painting at the moment, and seem to be struggling with getting the line straight when it comes to painting near doorframes, skirting boards, etc...

Are there any tips you could offer me please, is it better to use a bit brush or a smaller brush when painting nearer the skirting boards and doorframes? ? ?

Many Thanks.

First thing..

Get a decent brush, 3 inch is ideal for cutting in 2.5 is my choice

Smaller brushes hold less paint so you'l have to make more passes at the line, the more passes you make the more chance you have got of hitting other surfaces

Dont overload the brush and work your way towards the line you want to cut it...dont go straight to it youl end up putitng to much paint on which will either run on squidge onto the surface you want to keep clean

Lastly...funny as t sounds...dont hold you breath1...when you concentrate on something like that its easy to forget to breath..if you leave it too long your hand will start shaking (or worse still...you'l die!!!)

Lol at the last part.

Thank you very much for the advice though, much appreciated.

:)
