try undoing the outer ring of the button.
IF, the outer bezel has Ideal Standard etched on it, then.
Gently, gently ease the small button up (using a flexible blade), then it will be easy to remove the larger button
Under these is a white (usually) plastic screw. Anticlockwise to unscrew it from the top of the flush valve within the cistern and all will be revealed.
