Hello TV folks

I am planning to ditch SKY+ and go for Freesat.
The SKY+ box has a coax video out socket that is connected to a number of TVs around the house that have a magic eye. This allows me to change satellite channels usin the a SKY+ remote. (But you know all this already).

Question is, does the HUMAX HDR, or other Freesat boxes, have the same facility?

Thank you!

You can use a Tri-link kit with any Freesat/Freeview box to replicate what a Sky box does. It makes use of the Sky eyes you already have installed. So this will let you use the new Freesat remote to control the box in the same way as you do with Sky. The difference is that the Freesat box is controlled via a stick on IR emitter rather than the signal going in to the RF2 socket.
