I NEED TO PUT A NEW RAD ON AN OPEN VENTED SYSTEM

Hi,

I have an open vented system and need to install a new radiator on the ground floor.

I need to know how to drain the system and also where to stop the water flow to the radiators, so i can install it and re-fill.

please advise

If you can't find in FAQ.

1. Isolate boiler
2. Isolate float valve in F+E cistern
3. Drain from lowest point (drain off on radiator perhaps?)
4. Fill back up by switching float valve back on (and close drain off)
5. Don't forget your inhibitor.
