I woke in the night

I woke up in the night...................with the desire to fix the washing machine because its been knocking really badly in the spin cycle. I cleaned out the filter and hope to test it later this week.

Mine was doing the same, and lay on my mind, so I awoke with the idea to strip it down, and there was a metal plate on top of the drum, that contained electronics, and a tube, and the metal mount was snapped off, and was banging against the drum, and caused all the rest of the machine to become unbalanced.

The tube part was for drying, and a part of that had fallen off, the electronics, part of the wiring had shorted against the motor, and burned out, seperating the wires.

Elsewhere, just banging noises.
