Hello,

I bled my radiators last night and now there is no hot water. There is no pressure and the gauge. I've attached the 2 pipes together and open one valve only on the left.

Can't turn the one on the right. No pressure coming back up yet. Any idea what went wrong?

Thanks

Steph

You bled the rads, which has resulted in the pressure dropping, therefore no hot water, as the boiler will not fire up, unless correctly pressurised.

Do I just top it back up by connecting the pipe and turn both valves?

Yes connect the filling loop, then open both valves, left and right ones. The right hand valve should open, maybe a little stiff, if not used for a while! You will have to bleed all rads again, until you release all air and maintain a pressure of around 1.2 bar. It maybe also wise to introduce an inhibitor, if this has not been done for a couple of years.
