Hi all, have a Honda accord 2.2 1994, need a new Ignition Module, is this within the realms of a DIYer, have done a fair bit of repairs in the past, and have been told it necessary to remove the distributer but don't want to mess up the timing, your thoughts and assistance on this would be gratefully received, thanks for your time!!

I would guess that the ignition module is within the distributor......usually the distributor body has a few degrees of movement for fine timing, so mark that with a dab of paint.
When you take the distributor cap off, the rotor arm will be pointing in one direction, so note that and ensure it's pointing the same way when reinstalling.
The distributor drive is keyed into the camshaft and only goes back one way.
Please note, this is how they usually were on cars of that age!
John :)
