Immersion heater keeps tripping circuit breaker

please help!

hi, i've just installed a new hot water tank with a new immersion heater changing from an economy 7 which has 2 heaters to just the 1(as on a standard tariff), have wired in what was the upper heater on economy 7 to my new immersion heater, the immersion starts to work but after some time it is tripping its circuit breaker. tried another new heater but getting same problem.

What OS are you using XP or Vista?

Do you have a fire wall?

Is your anti virus software up to date?

What is the rating of the circuit breaker

What else runs off that circuit

what is the rating of the immersion heater

please post some pics of the wiring including one of the connections to the heater terminals
