To replace the element, search the forum and then follow the instructions. It's more of a plumbing job than an electrical one, but you have to know how to isolate safely and, afterwards, do basic tests of what you've done.

When you say "tripping out" do you mean like on hallucinogenic drugs, way out, man?
Or do you mean the RCD is tripping and you have to reset it?
Or do you mean the MCB is tripping?
An RCD will have markings like "Test monthly" and "30mA" or "0.03A"
