indesit w123 won't spin?

Does anybody have the answer to why the machine sound like its spinning but the drum is still, it just doesn't spin? The dial is ok and the machine empties, its just the drum doesn't move? Any help would be greatfully received. Thanks.

Thanks for replying, and you were right, the cam belt has come off. Next question, how do I get it back on? Its very tight, I was wondering if I need a certain tool to help me stretch it to fit back on?

No just put it over the motor end and feed it round the pulley 2 min job.
