long story short, I have a breeze block shed/outhouse which is in desperate need of ventilation. Wondering the best way to go about it.

I bought a few air bricks and was just going to drill holes into the breeze block then chisel out enough to fit the air bricks in (horizontally). I got 2 and was going to put them back to back, so to match the thickness of the breeze blocks.

Is this a dumb idea, will the breeze block/wall just crumble on me ?

Any hints or tips ? cheers in advance :)

Can't you just drill a couple of holes in the blocks the same size as those in the vented bricks and in the same place you intend to fit them, then see if those holes provide adequate ventilation for your needs.
If it does, no need to chop out, if it doesn't
A - you know the blocks will/will not crumble
B - you know you need/don't need them

Use round air vents then you can just use a core drill.
