Integrating sensor light to std switch

Hi

I want to have garden lights controlled by a switch inside, plus activate in the dark when movement detected like a flood light. But the lights are standard brick type lights so have no sensor.

B&Q (probably any DIY shop) sell a PIR sensor with no light fitting, pretty sure the instructions show how to include an internal override switch.

Those have the feature

Automatic pulse override, enables lights to remain on if required, without extra wiring or using an existing switch.

which can confuse the issue.

My prefered PIR is the Steinel IS 2180-2 as its sensing area can be set up to cover irregular shaped areas.
