Hi,
I have a problem with a buzzing noise when captions appear on screen. The bigger the captions, the louder the buzz.
I am using a Sagem digital recorder, the signal strength is 52% and quality 98%.
Any solutions,please!
Regards
Dave

have you tried the usual plugging and unplugging at the mains detach attach the leads at both ends [in from other equipment or out to tv ]or at least check they are in properly
scart sockets are favourate for being in squint

On a good old analogue TV, sound breakthrough could usually be minimised by turning down the contrast or reducing the video input level.

it might be try the settings between RGB and pal output from the digibox to the tv.

worth a try.

If you fgo into the picture settings for both the tv and the digibox, and ensure that they are both on the same setting for pic output (RGB or PAL) you didnt say if you had connected it via a HDMI lead or a scart lead.

another option is to ensure that there are no power leads crossing over the other (Scart/coaxial etc) leads
