Hi all,

this is my first post and I'm not a plumber so please bear with me.

I've got a problem whereby if I run the hot water upstairs it runs for a bit, nice and hot and then after a while it slows down to a trickle and then runs out completely.

If I leave it alone for a while the hot water comes back but the same thing happens again.

The hot water comes from a Megaflo cylinder and downstairs as far as I can tell is unaffected.

Any thoughts or advice would be VERY much appreciated as I don't really want to call a plumber but if I don't have a choice then that's the route I'll need to go and our 2 year old may have to have a bath downstairs tonight.
