Hi,

A door handle at home has become problematic and I hope someone can help me with a solution.

When the handle is fully in the downwards position, the part of the door that sits in the keeper when closed, does not retract fully, and therefore the door does not open properly.

Is there a way of fixing this?

Regards

First step is to give it a squirt of WD40. 9 times out of 10 it will free it up no problem.

Thanks Chrt I will try that.

I was thinking more along the lines of there wasnt enough leverage with the handle to retract the part from the keeper and I would somehow have to tighten it up, but i will try the WD40
