I Have an old fashioned boiler with gravity feed hot water and a thermostat controlled pump for the rads.
My programmer is getting time expired and it would be handy to be able to advance or turn things on via a smart phone app.
I am drawn to the Hive Stat & it seems to have a receiver which I assume goes onto a standard backplate, a thermostat which replaces the programmer & goes where you want a thermostat and a Hub which connects to your router.
Can anyone tell me if this is right as the Hive website just seems to obscure the important bits and also is the Hive system recommended?
