Iron / Steam Generator Smells after cleaning?

Cleaned out our Iron Steam Generator, with a mixture or Limescale cleaner, and lemon juice as a natural way to get rid of the limescale build up.

Worked a treat and its never been more powerful, however the steam and iron now smells with a weird fusty smell?

Any simple tips on removing this and getting rid of the smell?

Vinegar....

How then to get rid of the vinegar smell? lol

Washing it all with warm water & bicarb to help clean it out but your going to get remains of whatever you clean it with inside and it will smell for a while afterwards which may go with use.
