Hi

Im jiggling around my cooker hood and need a couple of feet of extra cable. I have a drum of "3 Core 6 amp" cable that states "For extension leads & domestic appliances up to 1440 watts".

It looks pretty much identical to the cable that was already there so is it okay to use this do you think?

Thanks

There should be a rating plate on the hood*, if the load is below the rating of the cable, go for it

(*or find on similar on-line, if not)
