i.e id there any such thing that will sence motion and then activate a plug to be 'on'. I have low voltage decking lights outside that are 'plugged in' inside and would liek to hook a PIR up to them.

Obscure I know.

fit a FCU on the ring with a fuse rated appropriately to protect the PIR from overload

run from here to the pir and then to your socket with suitable cable

easy ;)

Is there a way I can do it to have an over-ride i.e so that I can have it on constant too?
