Hi All

My kitchen is nearing completion but the plinth is causing me a problem. Supplied plinth is not edged. I am concerned knowing my other half rough as she is as well as my kids there will come a time time when bottom of the plinth (floor face) will get wet. This will cause the plinth to swell. I have looked around for edging. I can only find veneered edging which is not water proof.

Any ideas what can be done. Plastic edging would be ideal but I believe its not easy to stick on. I am stuck I need help. Thanks in advance.

You can get a 'U' shaped clear squared edge that slips onto the bottom of plinths.

Not sure who sells it though

I used pine board dyed to match worktops and oiled, longer lasting than the chipboard variety.
