Knotting solution or two in one Primer/knotting soln?

Morning all, I'll be painting some new skirting board this afternoon, and I've got some Ronseal primer/knotting solution but I'm a bit dubious as to whether I should have bought a knotting solution and separate primer...

...any opinions?

Bugger.

Guess who whacked the Ronseal on this afternoon? Hmm.

Any advice on what to do next? I've got 25m of skirting and 3 door surrounds (all new wood and fairly cheap by the looks of it) with a coat of this stuff on.

I'm after a white eggshell finish, so what would you guys use now - I was planning on Crown Eggshell Pure Brilliant White...

Is that an egg pun based way of telling me the paint is no good?

Assuming you can still see most of the knots through the primer, you may as well go over the knots with some real knotting solution. Then undercoat over.
