Hi

We have to move into our house and unfortunately all of our building works is not complete. I have just ordered the very cheap cord carpet as a temporary fix so we aren't walking on floorboards.

It seems pointless paying out for a carpet fitter as it's only going to be down for about 6 - 8 weeks. I don't want to use gripper rods because I think the carpet is so thin - the spikes could easily come through.

Is there a very good double sided tape that I could use? If not, how should I fit the carpet?
