Hi,

I've been trawling through all the posts to do with decking on the site and there's lots of good advice here so I think i'm ready to have a go! I just want to double check one thing before I start detroying the garden. The pation is solid and doesn't wobble or move at all so am I ok to lay joists on top and if so how would you suggest securing them to the slabs.

Any help is really appreciated as I'm not loving the patio! View media item 12383 View media item 12382 View media item 12384

stand them off of the paving on small posts. no need to secure to paving

Yes, Definitely use legs, and you could fix to wall with two or three long screws.
