Our Dining room has concrete floors covered with Marley Tiles which have been in place since the house was built in 1984.

I want to put down a wood floor. Can I glue a solid wood floor to the tiles or would I be better putting a laminate 'click' system down?

Many thanks

You cannot glue straight onto the Marley tiles.

Check of all tiles are still firmly stuck down. Depending on what you plan to purchase as wood floor (solid or wood-engineered floors) you could install the new floor floating on a combi-underlayment
Type of underfloor is type of underlayment
