Hi

This is a picture of the leadwork prior to being rendered over. This picture has been taken from a window above.

The lead isn't cut into the corner.

The lead along the long edge (left hand of picture) has already been rendered, and the 3" or so that was left of this lead has just been pushed under the new lead.

I would have thought this needed to be overlapped and cut into the corner to prevent any leaks.

any advice is welcome

Hi, thanks for response.
the wall is being rendered tomorrow and the lead is being dressed onto tiles.
I am just wondering what will stop rain leaking in the corner and under the lead?

Simple physics will tell you that when fitting lead, you start at the bottom and as you rise up the roof, each subsequent piece of lead overlaps the next.
Even a myopic moron can see that the side flashing needs to be lapped under (the higher) abutment flashing.
Sack your roofer - immediately.

Not only that, the lead should not be in lengths more than 1.5m, to allow for expansion. Otherwise it will spilt.
