leak from Water to Water Heat Exchanger

hi i have a leak from the heater exchange on a worcester 24cd1 yes i have spent mt time honting down the leak from my last question. and the leak is that bad well one drip every 20 seconds is bad enought!! well how hard to swap unit and and ideas as best place to get one as prices range from £70 - 120 am going too try pumbers epoxy to stip the drip till get heater exchange???? help

its leaking from the body not any pipes (bottom fin's in the middle )

As soon as you touch any connections to it, they will leak as well.

I would always recommend getting Worcester in on a fixed price repair.

They made/designed the thing, let them have the hassle of fixing it :mad:
 
Forget fixing the leak with epoxy, the hex is bimetal.
Lots of heating engineers find it a hard job, I really wouldn't recommend it as a diy for someone with little experience or knowledge.
