Hi All
I recently noticed that my 2T hydraulic floor jack was losing pressure under load, and at the same time, was leaking fluid out the side of the piston ram. I gave it bit of a clean-up, opened the filler plug, and refilled it with oil. I have not used it again since. Does this mean the seals of this jack is finished, and that I have to have it replaced/repaired?
I have had this jack for some years now, but seldom use it....
Thanks very much.

I'm afraid it does, if its leaking from the end of the ram.....you may be able to get new seals, if its a quality jack.
A firm called Pirtek used to repair hydraulic stuff - it could be worth a call for a quote.
