Hi,

Just moved into a flat and the overflow pipe outsdie is leaking; I'm ground floor.

This was included in the survey as need some attention, but not too sure what I need to do to fix/stop it.

Any ideas.

Cheers for any help anyone can give!!

You first need to establish what it is thats overflowing, toilet, tank etc.

If tank likely to be the ball valve.

Post back when you know where the pipe leads to.....

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, not too sure about anything you have just said.

As I said, the pipe outside leaks, that is all the plumbing knowledge I know, the flat seems to be okay water wise, how do I determine where this originates from; there is not water anywhere else???

sorry for being a total unkowledgable person!!

Cheers guys...George

Well we cant help without a little more information. Take a look at where the pipe is in association to things inside your flat.

Is it outside near boiler/toilet/or bathroom?

Is it copper?

Is it white or grey plastic?

Hope this makes it a little more clear as to the info we need.

Post back when you know where the pipe leads to.....

We already know that it leads outside!

He needs to tell us where it originates from!!!

Tony

I believe the sentence was not incorrect. If you are standing outside then you would want to know where the pipe leads to. Does it lead to the WC or...?
