About to attempt my biggest DIY job to date. The building of a lean-to from what research I've done I'll need to make the roof waterproof as it will be attached to an external brick wall.
Will I need to cut a hole in the brick and stuff in some lead in order to water proof where the roof meets the wall? Does it have to be lead? Having never done this before it would be good to know how to do it, if anyone can help?
