Lengthening a pendant light fitting

All the ready-to-use pendant light fittings have a six-inch cable from ceiling rose to lampholder.

I need to replace one that has 15 inches from ceiling rose to lampholder, but cannot for the life of me remember what the cable is called, and googling just brings up "retro" fabric-covered wires.

Can somebody tell me what I should ask for, please?

Doesn't it need to be heat resistant ?

Also, the wholesalers I've used stock assembled units in different lengths.
