loewe mimo no picture

Hi i have a loewe mimo tv its around 5years old its the old crt tube tv not lcd,any way last week it lost all power so no pic or anything took it for repair and the man said it was a thermal switch or something and it worked okay for a week now theres power to it but no picture so b4 i take it back i was wondering if anyone here had any ideas so i know what i am on about when i take it back
