Loft insulation advice with pics.

My house was built about a billion years ago so it doesn't have any vapour protection between the rafters and the tiles. I'm looking to expand the current loft room, which you can see one of the walls in the pic, and hopefully uprgrade the insulation and provide a vapour barrier of some sort. I'm stuck at the moment as I'm not sure if I need a vapour barrier or just rely on foil backed insulation. Any advice would be great, cheers Paul.

according to BCO you dont NEED either,however they may advise you to install a vapour barrier over wet rooms.
