making patio slabs.......

Ive made 2 small circular slabs and they both look like giant aeros 'cos I dont know how to get rid of the air bubbles. Is it a case of more tamping or something more technical ?
Having said that, I do like aeros

always difficult. Hold a sander against the frame after youve poured the concrete. It will help vibrate the bubbles out

I've lost track of how many homemade slabs and fence posts I have had to remove over the years. Most seem doomed to fail. I assume its a cost issue for you? Think carefully about the cost benefit before proceeding - you dont want to spend more money later hen they fail.

i would never make paving slabs.you need a very strong mix.
