Embarking on a flooring project in hallway and living room currently. Lifted dirty old carpet in hallway to be greeted by this.

Any idea the cost involved in getting it moved? I want to rip up the tile and have the floor screeded level so as to be able to lay a solid wood floor across the living room and this hallway.

Any ideas on what i could do?

Many thanks

You were greeted by what?

Your album shows one pic from june 2015?

It depends on what in the access chamber - if it's foul connections then moving it is a no-no.

Quarry tiles in a hallway? Is this hallway in an extension of some kind?

Where is your exterior manhole, & your soil pipe, in relation to this discovery?

If its a piece of screwed down ply then why not unscrew and lift it?
