Matching Old Wallpaper

Hello

I've just moved in to a new property, and to save costs we are going to paint over the wallpaper in the hallways.

However, there is a piece that has been torn. By any chance (and I know this is a slim chance) if anyone could tell me of any companies where I could match some old wallpaper to fill/go over the torn area

Have you looked in the roof space, thats where bits and pieces of old wallpaper go to die .

You didn't post a photo of the tear. You are unlikely to find matching wallpaper if it is years old and there is none in the garage or attic. Have you tried to remove it with a steamer? It may come off no problem.
