Microbore

I noticed a Thermoststic Rad Valve had been leaking and I have drained the system to put a new one on the microbore pipe.

After doing that the other day.I have tried to drain the system again, unfortunately nothing is coming out of the draincock when fully opened.

Any suggestions?????

Hi,
have you checked if the thermostatic valve is fully open? If the setting is too low, or handle in wrong position, tap might be closed, and no air can go out ??...

If it isn't that and it is either an airlock or sludge, could I attach a hosepipe to the drainoff and try and force the air bubble or sludge to move?
