Mira Sport 10.8 kw Electric shower

I have a Mira Sport 10.8 kw Electric shower which when turned on, immediatley goes back to standby. i used to be able to stop this behaviour by tapping the on off buttons , but now it just goes to standby as soon as it is turned on


If i turn the thermostat to max heat before turning on, it will power up. i then turn thermostat heat down and all is ok. it continues running till next time i use shower when i have to repeat the procedure

anybody have any suggestions how to cure this ???

What light comes on? the mira sports 10.8kW has a overheat and low flow warning light.

the overheat and lowflow lights dont come on, the shower just switches straight back to standby (red light)

If i turn thermostat to maximum heat ,the shower will start and i can then turn thermostat to desired heat and all is ok. Till next time shower is used. strange??
