Hi trying to help out my parents ,they need their electric shower replacing its a 9.8kw at the moment ,been advised to get the mira sport 9kw or the excape 9.8kw ,are they a lot better than say the 9,8kw triton showers around 60- 100 quid ...cheers

A lot on here rubbish Triton but I have just replaced one with another Triton. The first one lasted 7 years. New one was £70 from Screwfix and was a straight swap. Even the screw holes lined up. Now at £10 a year that's good value, and it never missed a beat in the 7years, and used every day. I always go for the manual controls as opposed to thermostatic.
