I had a mira stylus shower installed and it worked fine for about a month. Then when the showers on it makes a screeching noise until a cold water tap in the house is turned on. I have queried this with the company who say that i need to have a prv fitted and that if it were a problem with the shower the screeching would not stop. My plumber on the other hand is telling me that they should be doing it and to call them out. He said that the pressure is definately below 5 bar but he hasnt checked it since installing the shower about 8 months ago and he also fitted the combi boiler 18 months ago. I dont have a clue about what i should do. Should i get a prv fitted? Is it that my plumber just dont want to do it???
