Evening, she who must be obeyed has decided in our new shower enclosure she wants the walls tiled in white 200x100mm white flat metro tiles with a vertical run of turquoise tiles behind the mixer bar and shower head, the turquoise tiles will be 100x100mm tiles 4 wide.

I have found the tiles she wants for the job but the turquoise tiles are 9mm thick and the white are 7mm thick is this going to present a real issue? the job will be done by a pro but we haven't started looking yet but she wants to get the tiles ordered in the sale, will it be an issue putting 2mm more grout behind the white tiles so they all end up flush with the turquoise ones? the total width of the area in question will be 1400mm

thanks
chris
