Motor capacitor value - how close does it have to be?

I have a gate opener with an 18uF motor capacitor that needs replacing quickly. I can get a 16uF or a 20uF off the shelf. Will one of these be okay? Should I opt for the 20uF (as it will doubtless reduce over time)?

The motor is rated at max 1000W.

As long as the current & voltage rating is adequate I would go for the 20
