Hi all
I have a small single skin outhouse that has all been plastered and painted. It is not seperated from the main house by a door, and it has the tumble dryer and washing machine in. It is also exposed on 3 sides with no heating, double glazed and minimal ventilation.
Naturally, this is an ideal environment for mould to grow.
I am having some work done on the house and this single skin area will be given an internal skin and wall tied to the existing outer.
My issue is that I want to be sure that the mould does not return between the 2 skins.
How can I be sure this does not happen?
Can I treat/paint it with something?
Or do I have to chissel all the plaster off before the inner skin goes up?
Many thanks
