Need a small switch Fuse for meter cabinet

True with the one screw, but there is a bit of a flimsy feel to it.
Consumer units tend to not screw into the cable but clamp it.

I don't want smaller than this, in fact a bit more height would be preferred.

There does not seem to be a lot out there.

I use lots of those KMF switch fuses. They're really good.

It's either one of those or a big numb switchfuse like those good old fashioned wylex ones.

all the MEM stuff I can remember has tunnel clamps, so it isn't just the end of a screw pressing on the cable (or is that one a budget copy?)

But remember copper cable is soft, so retighten after a week or so when it has moulded to shape and relaxed a bit.

How about instead of a switchfuse an MCB or MCCB?

Plan B

I can sell you this at a bargain price

and you can put the cutout and meter inside it.

Brilliant.

I'm sure Schneider electric ( Square D ) make one just like the Protus, Have you thought about a double pole MCB in a suitable enclosure as an option ?
Don't think Scottish Power mind isolator a in the meter box around here, I've seen Wylex Isolators and even adaptable enclosures with SWA glanced off into them.
